Contex's new A2 flatbed scanner is designed for ease of use while offering all the high quality scanning technology from the wider models. The COPYmate 18 scanners contain the all-new on-board iJET Technology and iJET Panel. The panel opens an elaborate menu system that enables setup and activation of full scan-to-print and scan-to-file options directly from the scanner without the need for a PC and software.

The scanner supports both LAN and USB printer connection options so any printer can be hooked up and used for copy output directly from the scanner. The scanner and connected printer thus form an easy to use and "best of breed" large format copier at prices competitive with the market's current all-in-one copy machine solutions. With the scanner's LAN interface, users can connect the scanner to the local network enabling a company's employees to share the scanner and use it with other LAN connected devices such as printers and remote PC stations.
