Features:

The fi-5530C2 is a high speed A3 color duplex scanner that can scan A4 documents at an impressive 50ppm/100ipm* in landscape (200dpi) and 35ppm/70ipm* in portrait (200dpi). It comes bundled with “ScandAll PRO” image capturing software for further improved scanning efficiency.
*Applicable for duplex scanning of A4 documents in color, at 200dpi, using JPEG compression.

• Excellent scanning and cost performance
  The fi-5530C2's ability to scan 50 pages/100 images per-minute in landscape (200dpi) and 35pages/70images per-minute in portrait (200dpi) enables operators to quickly and efficiently digitize massive amounts of paper.

• Includes the newest “ScandAll PRO” image capturing software
  “ScandAll PRO” image capturing software is loaded with many useful scanning supporting functions.
  Major features:
  -High speed image display, multi-image display and thumbnail image display
  -Searchable PDF, compressed PDF, password protected PDF, single page display PDF and PDF/A (ISO-19005-1)

• Post imprinter support
  The fi-5530C2 supports an imprinter that is capable of printing dates and other information on the back (FI-553PR) of scanned documents in order to simplify the search for the original document at a later date.

Previously bundled Virtual ReScan (VRS):

• VRS verification and adjustment features generate perfect images every time.
• The ability to efficiently digitize large volumes of documents dramatically improves scanning productivity.
• Easy to use. Automated functions remove the need for skilled scanner operators.

Now, the newly bundled Kofax VRS Professional lets users do what they could always do with the VRS Basic as well as:
VRS Professional

• Automatically rotate documents based on content to present a correctly oriented image
• Automatically detect color images without having to change scanner settings
• Output an smoothed image with a solidified background color

VRS Professional for Workgroup

• Supports all of the above functions as well as the Adrenaline Image Processing Engine (AIPE), which is capable of generating PDFs and processing bar codes

1. Actual scanning speeds are affected by data transmission and software processing time.
2. JPEG compressed figures.
3. Maximum capacity varies, depending upon paper weight.
4. Maximum output resolutions may vary, depending upon the size of the area being scanned and whether the scanner is scanning in simplex or duplex.
5. Scanning limitations brought about by scanning mode, document size and available memory may occur when scanning at higher resolutions (600dpi or higher).
6. Ultra SCSI interface cannot be used simultaneously with USB2.0.
7. Excluding the ADF paper chute and stacker.
8. PFU Limited, a Fujitsu company, has determined that this product meets RoHS requirements (2005/95/EC).
9. The fi-5530C2 is capable of scanning documents that exceed A3 sheets in length.
