The Fujitsu fi-5650C scanners comes with TWAIN and ISIS® drivers and are also bundled with the full versions of Adobe® Acrobat® 8.0, ScandAll Pro and VRS 4.1 Professional. To further decrease document preparation time and maximize scanning productivity, the fi-5650C is the first in the Low-Volume Production scanner class to offer hardware-assisted VRS Professional technology. Hardware-assisted VRS Professional improves scanner speed performance over strictly software processing when utilizing certain advanced VRS imaging features, resolution and image mode combinations.

The Fujitsu fi-5650C-HVRS provides fast color and monochrome scanning speeds, robust paper handling and a suite of advanced features in a space-saving design. Features include Ultrasonic double-feed detection, long document scanning and dual control panels for left or right-handed user operation.

With a high scan rate of up to 57 ppm/114 ipm (300 dpi), onboard JPEG compression, and duty cycle of up to 8,000 documents per day, the Fujitsu fi-5650C-VRS scanner combines performance and dependability to create an outstanding production scanner. It also scans at 71 ppm/142 ipm in landscape orientation and features an optical resolution of 600 dpi for amazing image detail.

For greater convenience, dual control panels allow operation from either side, while dual, high-speed interfaces (Ultra-SCSI and USB 2.0) provide easy connectivity. A proven, reliable, 200-page automatic document feeder (ADF) with Ultrasonic double-feed detection that accepts documents ranging from 2.1 in. x 2.9 in. up to 12 in. x 18 in. enhances productivity. The Fujitsu fi-5650C-VRS comes with TWAIN and ISIS® drivers. Full versions of Adobe® Acrobat® and ScandAll 21, also included with the fi-5650C scanner, add value and functionality.
