Deal Registration

If you are a corporate entity or government agency considering purchasing in volume or combinations (i.e. Capture Software, Scanner, Extended warranty plan, or a Kodak Scanner with Kodak Capture PRO software licenses) and the potential purchase is say greater than 15K and would like to save money on the purchase, this information is to help you get the most discounted dollars for your purchase. Kodak will work with us to get you the best price. I am talking hundreds  if not thousands  of dollars off our standard price in most cases!

First, running around getting quotes will mostly likely NOT get you the lowest price if you qualify! It’s best to understand the manufacturers Deal Registration game and how to best use it to your advantage.

This is what you need to know to maximize your discount!

The Kodak Deal Registration has three categories: 1. Exclusive: 2. Non-Exclusive: 3. Denied:

1. Exclusive provides the reseller the most discounted dollars they can pass along to you. Generally, twice what you will receive if the Deal Registration is Non-Exclusive.
   
   How to get an Exclusive Registration: If the manufacture receives two or more deal registration requests within a short period, say within five days on this opportunity they will not issue an Exclusive. There are other factors but this is the big one. This is why the application process takes about a week to receive an answer back from the manufacturer.


2. Non-Exclusive: If there are just two or maybe three resellers at the most that you have contacted and they send in an application even without your knowledge, the manufacturer may issue a Non-Exclusive to those resellers. Again that discount amount, as we have experienced, is generally about half the amount of an Exclusive.


3. Denied, well what can I say! That means everybody knows about this opportunity. This is not in your best interest! Basically, at this juncture the Manufacturer has no incentive.

If you need to get several quotes, my advice is to first take advantage of the “Deal Registration Process”. Once you receive that quote, then knock your socks off and get as many quotes as you like. We encourage you to do so.
