Reliable Ultrasonic Double-Feed Detection

The KV-S2048C’s double-feed prevention roller employs an ultrasonic sensor that detects the double feeding of originals during scanning. This innovative design prevents double feeding, and has been proven effective even when the documents being scanned contain a mix of paper of different weights or thickness. Thanks to double-feed prevention, optimum reliability is assured even when scanning highvolume documents.

If a problem develops with your scanner during the warranty period, call the Panasonic Technical Support Hotline at 1-800-PANASYS. If your scanner is found to be in need of warranty service, your scanner will be exchanged by Panasonic. A trained service representative will instruct you through the exchange process. This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser. A purchase receipt or other proof of date of original purchase will be required before warranty service is rendered. This warranty covers only failures due to defects in materials or workmanship that occur during normal use. It does not cover failures due to damage that occurs in shipment or failures caused by products not supplied by Panasonic Communications & systems Company, or failures that result from accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling, misapplication, alteration, faulty installation modification or service by anyone other than Panasonic or a Panasonic Authorized Servicer or damage that is attributable to acts of God. There are no express or implied warranties except as listed above.
